About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team and help deliver impactful marketing, communications, and digital activities across the organisation. This role is key to maintaining a strong online presence, creating high-quality content, and supporting campaigns that align with our commercial objectives.
A major focus will be ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professionalism on Active Steward (AS), one of our most important client-facing platforms, so that every interaction reflects a first-class standard.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Copywriting
Write and update social media posts, email content, website copy, and marketing materials.
Create engaging copy for adverts, LinkedIn posts, and campaigns.
Support the development of sales materials and ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.
Review and improve content and layout on AS client-facing pages for an excellent user experience.
Digital Marketing & Online Activity
Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn and our website.
Maintain website pages, blogs, and product/service updates.
Apply basic SEO (meta titles, descriptions, alt text).
Support digital campaigns, monitor performance, and prepare simple reports.
Campaign & Project Support
Assist with campaign execution, email sends, and follow-up actions.
Organise campaign assets and coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal teams.
Support event planning and logistics, including merchandise preparation.
Administrative & Research
Maintain the asset library and CRM (HubSpot).
Monitor competitor activity across social media and websites.
Provide general admin support for marketing projects.
Quality & Compliance
Work in line with our ISO9001-compliant Quality Management System.
Contribute to the development of Active Steward for study placement, cost control, and quality programmes.
Commit to ongoing professional development through seminars and courses.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.
Confidence using digital platforms (social media, CMS/CRM, email tools).
Basic SEO knowledge.
Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
Understanding of digital marketing analytics.
Experience with B2B or technical content.
Familiarity with website UX improvements.
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, English, or related field.
2–3 years’ experience in digital marketing or content writing.
Right to work in the UK and ability to commute to Aspect House within one hour.
Nice to Have
Additional marketing or copywriting certifications.
Membership of a professional body (e.g., CIM).
